(traces of gilded engraving, some staining and pitting), plain silver band at throat, plain natural bamboo hilt pierced with a white-metal aperture for a wrist-strap, replacement brass pommel-cap, brass tapered tip to the natural bamboo scabbard, 33 1/2in. overall
